Bamboo, grass, reed and jute — woven into shades that filter light through organic texture. Custom-made, professionally installed, and backed by an industry-leading lifetime warranty.

Natural Shades · Florida

Soft light, organic warmth.

Woven wood shades bring the outside in. Each shade is hand-woven from sustainable bamboo, grass, reed or jute — every panel a little different, the way nature intended. The result is a window treatment that softens harsh Florida sunlight into the kind of warm, dappled light a coastal home was built for.

Choose unlined for breezy light-filtering, or add a privacy or blackout liner where the room calls for it. Every shade is custom-sized to your window and finished with the lift system that fits how you live.

Four Weaves

Pick the weave that fits the room.

Each natural material has a personality. We help you match the right weave to the room's light, color and feel.

Bamboo woven shade
— 01 / Bamboo

Bamboo Weave

The classic. Tight bamboo reeds woven horizontally for a clean, refined natural finish. Sustainable, fast-growing and the most popular of our four weaves.

Grass woven shade
— 02 / Grass

Grass Weave

Finer texture, softer drape, slightly more sheer than bamboo. A great match for coastal-modern interiors that want the texture without the heaviness.

Reed woven shade
— 03 / Reed

Reed Weave

Heavier, more architectural, with visible variation between fibers. Reed weaves anchor a room — perfect for living rooms, libraries and lanai-facing windows.

Jute woven shade
— 04 / Jute

Jute Weave

Warm honey and amber tones with a casual, organic look. Pairs beautifully with neutral palettes and adds a touch of texture without dominating the room.

Why Woven Woods

Four reasons designers specify them.

Sustainable Materials

Fast-growing bamboo, grass, reed and jute — renewable, biodegradable and harvested without clear-cutting.

Soft, Filtered Light

Natural fibers diffuse hard Florida sun into warm, dappled daylight — the same quality of light a beach umbrella casts.

Layer With Drapery

Woven shades pair effortlessly with side panels or stationary drapes — a designer's go-to layered window.

Lifetime Warranty

Industry-leading lifetime warranty — backed by the family-owned business that put it on your wall.

Good to Know

Woven wood questions, answered.

Do woven wood shades give you privacy?
Unlined woven shades filter light beautifully but are not private — at night, an interior light can be seen through them. We add a privacy or blackout liner behind the weave when the room needs more — bedrooms, baths and street-facing windows are typical candidates.
Will they hold up in Florida humidity?
Yes. The natural fibers we specify are kiln-dried and treated for stable moisture content, and our installers select the right material for each room — bamboo and reed perform especially well in higher-humidity areas like lanais and sunrooms.
Can I motorize a woven wood shade?
Absolutely. Most of our woven wood styles are available with rechargeable wirefree motors and integrate with Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit.
How long does a custom woven wood shade take?
Most orders are manufactured and installed in three to four weeks. Larger sizes and specialty weaves can take a little longer. We give you a firm timeline at the time of quote.
